NASA's High-End Computing (HEC) Program provides this website for requesting and managing allocations on HEC resources. Click on the supporting Mission Directorate below or see
https://hec.nasa.gov/request/request.html
for submission details. Work supported by NASA outside of the five Mission Directorates and NESC may apply for time under the MISC (miscellaneous) category. This category does not have a share of HEC resources, and so requests will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis with no guarantee of an award of computer time.
IMPORTANT: 12/17/2024: This system now utilizes NASA's Launchpad for authentication, instead of your RMS username and password. Users with existing NASA Credentials can log in using Launchpad as they normally would. New users or returning users without NASA Credentials must register for a NASA Guest Account prior to logging in.
Returning RMS users: for your NASA Guest Account, be sure to use the email address registered to your RMS account or the accounts will not be linked.
If you are signing in with a NASA Guest Account, download a PDF of your request(s) because we cannot guarantee access if your email address changes.
If you are logging in with a NASA Guest account, please select the Agency User ID button on the login page. The Agency User ID will be the
email address you registered your Guest account with.
If you need to create a Guest account, please click the 'Create Guest Account' button below. For step by step instructions on creating the guest account
